Details

Food Profile: This estate dates back to 1888 when the original Lake County vineyards were purchased by Lillie Langtry, a British stage actress. She oversaw the winemaking there and prior to prohibition turned this property into one of note. These many years later it is again producing noteworthy wines. This Cabernet is made in the style of the wines of Bordeaux, as it is blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot to produce a rich and balanced wine. Spice box, currants and smoke are layered throughout this easy drinking red.
