Set Up Account

To set up an account we will ask you to enter basic information including name, delivery address, payment information and e-mail address. For delivery to apartment buildings or businesses you will be asked to confirm that we deliver to your building before you will be able to set up an account. (You will be instructed how to do this.)

Finally, you will be asked to create a Username and Password. You will need this Username and Password to log in each time, unless you set your computer to remember your login information.

Select Delivery Day

We deliver seven days a week in most neighborhoods. Choose the day and time that works best for you from a list of times we're in your neighborhood. This will be your "default" delivery day. If you don't want the same delivery day and time each week, or want to order more or less often than once a week, simply select a new delivery option each time you order. You will also be asked to give us specific delivery instructions, as to whether or not to ring the bell, where to leave the totes if you're not home, etc. — the more specific the better.

Start Shopping

It takes most customers about an hour to compile their first order, but it gets a lot faster each time you shop. The fastest way to shop is to have a shopping list ready and simply type keywords for each item, such as "organic milk," into our Search box. On our home page you'll find links to our weekly specials, new products, an ever-changing list of the day's best produce and much more. A Word About Our Grocery Store

Browsing through our "Grocery Store" is a good way to get familiar with the depth and breadth of our selection, or to see everything we carry in a certain category. But because we sell over 12,000 items, browsing can be overwhelming for a first-time shopper. (If you've ever wandered around an unfamiliar grocery store trying to find something, you know what we mean!)

The best advice we can give you is to use the power of the Internet to make grocery shopping more efficient. You don't have to stroll down every aisle to find what you need — you can use today's powerful e-commerce tools, like our helpful Search function, to jump from asparagus to yogurt in seconds. Or use one of our nutritional filters to see all low-cal ice creams in one click. Once you get used to grocery shopping this way, you'll never go back!

Ordering Deadline

Your ordering deadline is 11 p.m. for next-day delivery. Same-day orders (if available) must be placed by 10 a.m. Sorry, but we cannot make exceptions to these deadlines.

You can count on your groceries arriving during your selected four-hour delivery window. If you'd like a closer estimate of when they'll arrive, log in the morning of your delivery and look for your Target Delivery Time next to the yellow truck at the top of the page. This is updated every 15 minutes once your truck is on the way. You can also request. You can also request Delivery Alerts to be sent to your cell phone or e-mail.

You do not need to be home for delivery (unless you have alcohol items in your order). Our hard-working Neighborhood Service Reps will check to see if you're home, first. If you're not, they'll leave your groceries in our weatherproof green totes at your door (or wherever you specify in your delivery instructions). Our insulated totes utilize dry ice, ice packs, and careful packing techniques to keep perishable foods fresh and frozen foods frozen for a few hours depending upon the weather conditions. In extreme weather, you should unpack groceries as soon as possible.

For deliveries that include alcohol, an adult at least 21 years of age with a valid ID must be home to sign for the order. If no one is home, these items will be removed from your order and you will be charged a $10 restocking fee. See Alcohol Delivery Policy.

We will pick up the empty green totes next time we deliver. Just leave the ice packs and any bags you want to recycle inside, and put the totes out where we can see them.

If you are home for delivery, our Service Rep will help you unload the bags and take the green totes back. You can let your Service Rep know if you have any special delivery instructions when you see him!
