Greek Meatloaf Greek Meatloaf
Combine Greek seasoning with carrots and feta cheese to give traditional meatloaf a flavorful makeover. Serve with oven fries, if you wish.
SERVES: 6
PREP TIME: 10 Minutes
COOK TIME: 80 Minutes
Ingredients

1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup unseasoned breadcrumbs mixed with 1/2 cup milk
4 ounces plain or basil-tomato feta cheese, crumbled
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 large onion, peeled and chopped
1 cup shredded carrot
1 teaspoon McCormick Oregano Leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Black Pepper, Ground

Directions
Step 1  Step 1:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a 13-by-9-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
 
Step 2  Step 2:
In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, soaked breadcrumbs, feta, eggs, onion, carrot, Greek seasoning (or oregano), salt and pepper. Form into a loaf, approximately 9-by-5 inches, and place in the prepared baking pan.
 
Step 3  Step 3:
Bake for about 1 hour or until internal temperature registers 150°F on an instant-read thermometer.
 
Step 4  Step 4:
Allow to rest, covered, for 10 minutes before slicing.
