Assorted summer fruit is layered between angel food cake and a pudding mixture to make a work of art that's bursting with flavor.
SERVES: 12
PREP TIME: 15 Minutes
COOK TIME: No Cook Time
Ingredients

1 Angel Food Cake, prepared
8 oz. container Cool Whip
6 Vanilla Pudding Cups or 1 box of Vanilla Pudding, prepared
3 Kiwis, sliced
1 pkg. each Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries or Blueberries -- more if it suits you

Directions
Step 1  Step 1:
Mix together 1 - 8oz container of Cool Whip with 1 package (6 pudding cups) of vanilla pudding. Slice prepared angelfood cake into cubes, peel and slice kiwis and wash/prepare the berries.

Step 2  Step 2:
Smooth a thin layer of the pudding mixture on the bottom of a serving bowl. Top with half of the cubed angelfood cake and then add another thin layer of pudding mixture. Spread sliced kiwi and berries for the next layer. If you are using a glass bowl, it is pretty to line the fruit and berries so they can be seen along the edge of the bowl. On top of the berries spread another thin layer of the pudding mixture, then the rest of the cake and then the remaining pudding mixture. Decorate the top with more sliced kiwi and berries.

Step 3  Tip::
Let the trifle sit a bit before serving (about 1.5 - 3 hrs). It will give the cake time to soak up the pudding and any juices from the fruit.
